Mr. Lau joined Stern Partners in 2025. He is actively involved in acquisitions and
ongoing business-related matters for the group’s companies.

Prior to Stern Partners, Mr. Lau was a vice president at a mid-market private
equity firm where he led investments in building products, consumer goods, and
business services. He worked closely with portfolio companies on their growth
strategy, operational initiatives, and M&A.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lau held roles in investment banking and transaction
services where he advised clients on M&A transactions and financial due diligence.
He began his professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he led audits
for private and publicly listed companies.

Mr. Lau is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce
from the University of British Columbia.
